Webinar - HMRC Conducting IR35 Compliance Checks

Kingsbridge’s Head of Tax, Andy Vessey, joined our IR35 Project Manager, Ryan Dawson, for an ‘Ask the Experts’ webinar to go through recent HMRC compliance checks. This included taking a look at an official HMRC letter and discussing what it actually means for recipients.

The hour-long session – which you can watch below – gave a whistle-stop tour of the recent compliance check letters being sent out by HMRC. We explained:

• What HMRC have been up to in recent months
• What the letter from HMRC looks like
• What the letter could lead to
• What you should do if you receive a letter from HMRC
• Practical ways to mitigate your IR35 risk

We also offered participants the chance to submit their own questions to be answered by Andy and Ryan.
