FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Tuesday 18th October saw the second major award win of the year for the team at Kingsbridge Contractor Insurance. Following on from their triumph at the 2016 UK Broker Awards, where they won the prestigious Customer Service Award, Kingsbridge went on to collect the gong for Affiliate Member of the Year at the 2016 APSCo Awards for Excellence.
The award is an honor bestowed upon affiliates that have gone above and beyond in demonstrating the professional values, exceptional performance, and support of fellow members associated with APSCo membership. Presented to Kingsbridge for their contribution to the recruitment industry, APSCo noted:
“Aiming to be an integral part of the recruitment supply chain, [Kingsbridge] has a clear strategy to deliver genuine added value through a variety of initiatives to reduce risk.”
Kingsbridge continues to work as the compliance partner of many of the leading Managed Service Providers and recruiters across a variety of sectors, including banking & finance, IT & technology, and engineering.
Kingsbridge Contractor Insurance also featured prominently in the latest version of the APSCo Yearbook, where Thomas Wynne, their Head of Business Development, wrote in detail about the importance of both contractors and recruiters remaining compliant in the face of a likely sea change in IR35 legislation.
Steve Wynne, Kingsbridge CEO, recently reiterated the company’s desire to work with and support recruiters and the recruitment industry. “We want to make it clear that Kingsbridge are here to help steer recruiters through uncertain waters,” he noted. “Making sure that their contractors have the right insurance, as well as ensuring that recruiters themselves are adequately advised and protected in the face of the many risks they face, remains an imperative.”
Thomas Wynne followed by saying: “Kingsbridge are working with more recruiters than ever. With non-standard terms becoming the norm, and hirers exerting more control than ever before, the days in which a recruiter could accept no responsibility for any acts, errors, or omissions committed by the worker they supplied are long gone. Kingsbridge are there to help recruiters and make them aware of the risks they face.
Many recruiters run a list of preferred suppliers for accountancy and umbrella service providers in order to ensure their contractors’ affairs are managed compliantly at all times, but many do not have an insurance partner ready to help manage the risk which arises from placing contractors.”
Kingsbridge act as a partner to hundreds of recruitment businesses. With a clear understanding of the marketplace, the nature of engaging workers and the sectors in which those workers operate, Kingsbridge can offer cost-effective products for all recruitment companies and contractors.
