Still not convinced that you need cover as you go about your work? We recently dealt with a claim where a site engineer provided incorrect drawing for setting out piled pots. Rectification works had to be undertaken by the contractors, and a loss adjusters report subsequently concluded that the site engineer should be held liable.
Once liability was agreed a settlement was negotiated in excess of £15,000 and the claim was closed. The engineer was covered by their professional indemnity insurance cover ? just one part of their Kingsbridge insurance package.
